Abigail & Jonathan
Abigail (French) and Jonathan (British/Irish) married in April 2013 and have since been lucky enough to have welcomed their three children into the world. Having originally met in Darfur, Sudan, when working for humanitarian NGOs, Abigail and Jonathan have lived abroad for many years in countries in the Middle East, Africa, North America and Asia, working with the United Nations, media, inter-governmental institutions, and various international aid and development, and human rights organisations. After moving to the area and starting the family business 'La Chartreuse', Abigail and Jonathan have immersed themselves in local life; coaching at the Eymet rugby club, becoming members of local clubs and associations, supporting local initiatives, and setting up a charity in the Dordogne.
Abigail and Jonathan relish being very hands on with the business and work to ensure La Chartreuse is a special venue where guests can fully enjoy this stunning property, whether it be for a wedding, a stylish private event, a fabulous night out, or a friends and family holiday to remember. Both Abigail and Jonathan pride themselves on being client-oriented, efficient, effective, reliable, and transparent.
